Depths and salinity.
Although the nile is a freshwater river the salinity of the water is increasig due to erosion and its connection to the mediterranean sea. The nile river is estimated to be about 6000 feet deep. |
Climate Change Predictions.
Due to incresed rain there is more erosion around the banks of the nile and less sunlight is able to get to the plants and algae in the water because of rubble. This will hurt this ecosystems by destroying the food chain. |
